Welcome to Solace

Solace is a music education app that provides daily practice sessions. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Your Account

You need an account to use Solace. You can sign up with your email address (via magic link) or with Google. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. One account per person, please.

Usage Credits

New accounts start with 7 usage credits. Each credit covers paid feature access for a calendar day on the free plan. If you have an active subscription, Solace does not spend credits while that subscription remains active.

Earning Extra Credits

You can earn additional usage credits by helping improve Solace:

• Bug reports: +3 credits per rewarded report (max 1 reward per local day)
• Feedback: +1 credit per rewarded submission (max 1 reward per local day)

Rewarded credits are capped at 90 total, separate from the initial signup grant. We reserve the right to adjust these amounts. Attempting to game the reward system, including duplicate or empty submissions, may result in withheld or revoked credits.

Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are processed through LemonSqueezy, our merchant of record. LemonSqueezy handles billing, taxes, and payment processing. You can cancel anytime from your profile — your access continues until the end of your billing period.

Your Content

Your practice data (session history, exercise results, preferences) belongs to you. You can export it at any time from your profile. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Acceptable Use

Use Solace for its intended purpose: learning and practicing music. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the app's content or exercise generation system.

Limitation of Liability

Solace is provided as-is. We do our best to keep the app working and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Solace after changes constitutes acceptance.
